ChildNet, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit community-based care (CBC) agency servicing Broward and Palm Beach County. We are contracted with the State of Florida, Department of Children and Families, to provide case management support to abused, abandoned, and neglected children. ChildNet is nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) and employs over 450 staff at its location in Ft Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, Florida.

Job Summary: This position conducts research and analysis of and recommends solutions for provider and agency improvements and program compliance.

Responsibilities: Promote a better understanding of management’s goals, policies, and mission; guides employees in their understanding of laws and regulations, considers factors that contribute to the effectiveness and productivity of the organization to foster an environment of constructive work relationships by:

  • Working with ChildNet’s managers, supervisors, employees and providers to prevent and resolve problems.
  •  Conducting research and analysis and recommending solutions for provider and agency improvements and program compliance.

  • Analyzing the underlying forces and practices that cause problems and recommends corrective measures to eliminate the root cause, i.e., collects data, obtains department input, evaluates processes, prepares reports, reports to management the results; recommends and establishes improved administrative methods.

  • Works with management to identify areas of improvement, creates quality monitoring projects, gather resources and manages and tracks the progress to support ChildNet’s short and long-range business objectives by:

  • Consulting with management regarding performance issues, assist managers to develop skills in performance standards and metrics and to remove organizational barriers that impede individual staff members’ performance.

  • Creating performance metrics and standards, reports and improvement targets for all strategic business units, confers with departments and providers to explain policies and procedures; may make presentations on assigned projects and programs.

  • Providing analytical management assistance and service contract performance measures for providers and ChildNet by planning, coordinating and directing programs, conducting surveys and studies, and special projects.

  • Conducting appropriate research and drafts reports, fact sheets, evaluations, conclusions, notices, and other documentation for presentation to executive management.

  • Validating the accuracy of ChildNet's automated systems; makes recommendations to improve accuracy and validity of data. Interfaces with departments and the internal Trainer to develop and implement training programs; confers with Human Resources to resolve employee concerns.

  • Conducting annual contract monitoring as outlined in the agency’s Contract Monitoring policy and procedures.

  • Recognizing, respecting and responding to the unique, culturally- defined needs of others served.

Skills / Requirements

* A Bachelors Degree in social work or related area of study from an accredited college or university required.

*Must have at least five (5) years of experience in social services or quality assurance.

* Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office 365 Suite and strong data entry skills.

* Must be available to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends in order to meet with children and families.

* Able and willing to work with a diverse client population.
