ChildNet is the private, not for profit organization created to manage the child welfare system in Broward County. Our mission is to protect abused, abandoned and neglected children in the communities we serve. ChildNet directly provides case management, independent living and adoption services. It also ensures the delivery of a comprehensive local system of care by subcontracting with more than 30 social service agencies to provide a full array of child welfare services. These include family preservation and strengthening, residential group and shelter care and foster home management. Our system of care was developed with extensive input from local stakeholders and its effective implementation depends upon their continued support.
ChildNet will lead every child in our care to safety, permanence, and stability.
